Winter Soundtrack

I loved working with this family. As you'll see in these photos, they have a ton of fun being together. They even provided a winter wonderland soundtrack for our shoot via iPod and external speakers, which traveled with us from location to location. We had such a great time, I'm starting to think maybe I need a soundtrack for every shoot!

Babies

I am not going to lie. Photographing newborns is not always an easy task. With feedings, diapers, siblings, etc. it can be a LONG and exhausting process. But little Grace Harper was a dream! She just snuggled right up and slept through almost the entire session. What a sweet baby and family!

After the Snow

It may be a surprise, but I love shooting in late November. The temperatures are definitely cold, the leaves have fallen, snow is beginning to settle in....but, the natural light is BEAUTIFUL. There is this soft haze that diffuses the sun that is like no other time of year. And when I have a gorgeous senior like Emily--with killer eyes and a natural ease in front of the camera, I remember why I love this job so much!
