When I started Genesis Photography back in 2006, with a film camera and a passion for capturing personalities and moments through my lens, Marni and her family were some of my first clients. I still remember that shoot and how it was one of those marking points when I realized I am totally meant to be a photographer. One photo of Marni stood out and has been one of my all-time favorites since then. Fast forward six years and I recently got to take her senior photos. It was so great to reconnect and we had a wonderful time on her shoot. Plus, I already have some new favorites!

Jordon | Eau Claire Area Senior Photographer

It's not often that I have the chance to travel to another city to do a senior photo shoot, but we have some friends in Hastings, Minnesota who offered me that opportunity! They also suggested some great locations, which I appreciated so much since I didn't have my favorite local spots to rely on. It was a hot day, but we had a ton of fun, and Jordon did a great job in front of the camera. He's a senior at Hastings high school who spent his summer in military training for the US Army. His family is really proud of him, and they have every reason to be!
