Sorry I've been MIA for such a long time! Many of you know that I had been considering taking some time off of photography this year to spend some time with my family. Well, the decision has finally been made that I am instead going to be taking a very limited amount of (as of today, 4 more) clients for 2014. Hopefully this will allow me to focus on my family and also be able to give my clients the time and attention they deserve! When I put this announcement up on FB, I had an amazing response, so thank you to all who have already booked sessions! I am beyond excited to take a less frenzied approach to my business this year, and to have the time and energy to be the mom and wife I need to be for my family. 

Speaking of family, (perfect segue, am I right?) I recently had the opportunity to photograph this lovely young family. Baby M wore her baptismal gown and we used the family's beautiful church loft and cathedral as our location which made for some very sweet moments. Enjoy!

Schultz Family Mini Session | Eau Claire Family Photography

A couple weeks ago I had the chance to photograph my adorable nieces again, along with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They asked if I could could focus most of my attention on Ava, being that these would be her 6-year-old photos. And although it was a short little session, we had a lot of fun including our own version of an awkward family photo (which I am NOT going to post because it is just too awkward.  I know, I know, you are all very disappointed).

Wow, I haven't done a blog post in quite some time, but it sure is good to be back! I had a wonderful spring, during which I took some time away from photography and spent some much-needed time with family and friends. I also happened to pick up a new hobby that I'll share more about at a later time! :)

This family hails all the way from Canada, and happened to be in the area visiting family, so we set up a family photo session. It was so much fun to capture photos of their sweet, cute-as-a-button daughter, right in the town we all grew up in...Colfax, Wisconsin, where we ended up finding some really great locations for our shoot. What a way to get back into the swing of things!
