Friendship

This is my friend Sara.

Sara and I met in 1999, the week before my husband and I were married. We went to art school together.  We worked at the same coffee shop. We had our first babies within about a month of each other. We journeyed through many hard days together. And as our lives moved on and our physical locations have drifted farther and farther apart, we've remained close...sharing in the joys and celebrations in life, the confusing frustrations of kids, businesses, marriages and families, and the discovery of new artistic visions. 

My friend Sara is unlike anyone I have ever known.
